Tata’s one ton pick- truck Xenon

Tata motors must have been all smiles after becoming a world-wide newsmaker.

Besides signing a definitive agreement to acquire the iconic British car brands Jaguar and Land Rover, the company also launched its pick-up Xenon at the Bangkok Motor Show.

In, Addition Company launched its operations in Thailand officially at the Motor show. The Xenon splash caught the attention of almost everyone at the show.

As the only Indian company in the fray, Tata Motors Thailand is launches its 1 ton pick up that will compete the market largely dominated by the Japanese makers.

The company claims the technology will offer durability as well as low priced spare parts. Besides offering low furl consumption, the auto makers believes it will give the Thai consumer good power delivery.

The Xenon is being assembled at the Thonburi Automotive Assembling Plant (TAAP).

Tata Motors Thailand is a joint venture of 70:30 between Tata Motors & Thonburi Automotive Assembling Plant.

The company aims to sell about 5000 units in the first year in Thailand.

Meanwhile, consumers in Thailand will have all the fun as they zip past in the Xenon which is perhaps going to be the cheapest pick-up truck available in the market!
